I was immediately inspired by Anichini’s La Collezione Turkish Sheets after seeing it featured in this months Architectural Digest. I just love the way the delicate blue embroidery pops on the stark white cotton, and the subtle exotic note the Turkish design lends. Whenever i get inspired by a design, be it a lamp, a piece of fabric or even graffiti under the train tracks, I immediately create a room in my head around it. Colors, mood, aesthetic, lifestyle; these are all factors when creating this imaginary room.
When i first saw Anichini’s Turkish sheets I thought of purple, a soft lavender purple complementing the navy embroidery. I am obsessed with Christopher Farr;s Willow and thought it would fit perfectly.
Soft and solid.
A touch of gray.
They say grey is the new neutral:)
Rock crystal lamps, need I say more? 🙂
I would probably stick this mirror in every room I walked in if I had the opportunity. LOVE!
Warmth and simplicity.
